Patrick maintains a broad litigation practice with an emphasis on bankruptcy and commercial litigation.
His primary focus is business and agriculture reorganizations, confirming several reorganization plans for businesses and individuals throughout Idaho and Oregon. As a regular presenter on continuing education courses and a former legal extern to Judges Jim Pappas and Terry Myers, the United States Bankruptcy Judges for the District of Idaho, Patrick has the experience and skill to successfully guide his clients through difficult financial issues.
Patrick is the current chairperson of the Idaho State Bar’s Commercial Law and Bankruptcy section, former Meridian Chamber of Commerce and Meridian Education Foundation chairperson, and former “Big” through the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program. When he is not working, you can expect to find Patrick at an outdoor music festival, hosting events with his family, or spending time with his children at one of their many, many, many events.
Patrick joined Foley Freeman in 2006 and became a partner in 2009. Patrick received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma Washington in 2000. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2004 where he was warmly selected by his classmates as the “Spirit of the Class.” Patrick is also a graduate of the Idaho Academy of Leadership for Lawyers and a 2016 honoree of the Idaho Business Review’s Accomplished 40 under 40.
The Foley Freeman Law Firm has been a pleasure to work as we created our important legal docs. They exhibit great communications, give good explanations and “legal-ese” interpretations, and the client’s needs are kept in focus.

In 1978, our firm began in a small house on the corner of Idaho Street and Meridian Road. Since then, we have grown to represent hundreds of local businesses and individuals in a wide variety of practice areas.
We take pride in giving back to our community. That’s why two of our partners have served as President of the Meridian Chamber of Commerce and all of our attorneys are regularly involved in various civic organizations and community enrichment programs.
For over forty years, Foley Freeman has been the firm in Meridian. We look forward to helping you with your legal needs.
